Tom Hanks Outfit From Forrest Gump

"Forrest Gump is one of my favorite contemporary movies. As you all know, I am a big fan of old movies, not so much of newer films. But this movie, clearly, reminds me of a great classic movie. Robert Zemeckis is one of the finest directors today and Tom Hanks, one of the finest actors of today create a truly amazing film. When I had the chance to buy a costume for my museum from this great movie, I jumped at the opportunity. This custom was purchased from a Christie's auction many years ago. Forrest Gump is celebrating their 20th anniversary this year." -Debbie Reynolds

My late mother brought me up watching all the old Hollywood movies, I’m now 27 and still enjoy an old classic, especially anything with Gene Kelly! I’ll be keeping my eye on this wonderful collection :) Thankyou Debbie! x

Debbie Reynolds…. I love you so much! Thank you for being the wonderful and delightful person you are! A few years ago I saw you when you came to Antioch California for the opening of a newly renovated Art Deco theatre. You are amazing. God bless you and yours.
P.S. And, I’m with you as far as old movies are concerned. I’m the same age as your daughter, but I’ve always preferred the old films, for so many reasons.
