For all the people who worked so hard to build our movie magic, I turn my part of this history over to new generations of collectors and fans. May it bring you as much joy as it did me.
Hi. I’ve purchased several posters and just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate your saving so many really important items for posterity. Although I trained to become an actress, I ended up as a professor of History, largely because the few in America who really appreciate and use history seem to be politicians (usually to manipulate) and entertainment figures. People actually say “Oh, I’m sorry for you” when I say I’m a historian, as they equate it with boredom, which is the exact opposite of the truth. I love my “Tammy” poster, especially as I was named Tamara is 1955! Thanks so much for preserving such neat things: I wish I could buy them all!
I had the great pleasure of meeting you at the first auction. Now, I have items from your world famous collection. You have made me so happy each day when I see the treasures you saved for all of us. You have given us your very heart! Love to you always, and I look forward to the third auction.
